How Robot Mower Compare works
Robot Mower Compare helps UK buyers compare robot lawn mowers using consistent product specifications, features and pricing information.
Our aim is to make it easier to understand the differences between models and identify which mowers may be suitable for different gardens.
Where our information comes from
Product specifications are primarily checked against information published by the manufacturer, including official product pages, specifications and documentation.
We may also use other reliable sources where additional information is required. Product information can change, so we show when information has been checked and provide an official manufacturer source on individual mower pages where available.
How we rate robot mowers
Robot Mower Compare ratings are editorial comparison ratings. They are designed to help compare models using the information and specifications available to us.
We consider factors including lawn coverage, slope capability, navigation and boundary technology, obstacle detection, mowing features, ease of setup and the overall specification offered for the price.
A higher rating does not mean a mower will be the best choice for every garden. Lawn size, layout, slopes, separate mowing areas and the type of navigation required should all be considered when choosing a model.
What our ratings mean
Our ratings use a 5-point scale to help compare robot lawn mowers on a consistent basis. Scores consider the mower’s specifications, features, capabilities and suitability relative to other models in its category.
A higher rating indicates a stronger overall combination of capabilities and value based on the information available to us. Ratings are intended as a comparison aid rather than a substitute for considering your own lawn size, layout and priorities.
Product testing
Unless we specifically state that a product has been personally tested or reviewed hands-on, our comparisons should not be interpreted as hands-on product testing.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on Robot Mower Compare are intended as a comparison guide. Manufacturer RRPs, retailer prices, promotions and product availability can change.
Commercial relationships
Robot Mower Compare may use affiliate links. If you follow one of these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or manufacturer at no additional cost to you.
Commercial relationships do not determine the specifications displayed or guarantee a favourable rating.
Keeping information accurate
We aim to keep mower information accurate and useful. If you notice information that appears incorrect or outdated, please contact us so it can be reviewed.
